About The Position
Baptist MD Anderson is currently looking for an energetic and dynamic Certified Medical Assistant to join our Breast Oncology Outpatient team at our Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center - Clay Campus. This is a Full-Time Days position with 8-hr shifts Monday through Friday. This CMA will need to float to other BMDA Clinics located Downtown and at Baptist South as needed. The responsibilities of this Certified Medical Assistant will include: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Outpatient Oncology Job Responsibilities: Provides nursing assistance to physician Obtains vital signs Greets and chaperons patients during medical visit Responsible for telephone triage and patient education Maintains medical documentation Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals Cross trains in front office, referrals area, and other areas If you are interested in this Full-Time Days opportunity, please apply today!
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
