The Michigan Surgical Advantage The Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40–42 hours per week). No nights, no weekends, and no holidays. The Location: A modern, high-volume office at 11051 Hall Road, Suite 100, Utica, MI. The Focus: Professional patient care and high-level clinical support. Your Clinical Impact As a Medical Assistant at Michigan Surgical, you are a vital link in the patient’s care. Your duties will include: Direct Patient Care: Efficiently rooming patients, obtaining accurate vitals, and ensuring a high-quality patient experience. Clinical Preparation: Preparing patients and exam rooms for specialized procedures, ensuring all necessary supplies and documentation are ready for the provider. Detail-Oriented Coordination: Managing patient flow in a busy office environment while ensuring medical records and clinical notes are accurate and complete. Professional Communication: Providing clear pre- and post-visit instructions and acting as a dependable resource for both patients and providers. Who We Are Looking For Education: Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate required. (CMA/RMA is not required). Experience: Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a fast-paced medical office. Accuracy: A high degree of attention to detail and a "task-oriented" mindset. Professionalism: A strong work ethic and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a high-volume atmosphere. GENERAL SUMMARY The Medical Assistant II (MA II) supports the delivery of urological services, performs work as required and functions as an effective member of the interdisciplinary team. The Medical Assistant II is tasked to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the medical offices running smoothly. This position collaborates/work with staff within their practice or other professional disciplines within the affiliated medical groups as needed to achieve effective and efficient patient care delivery and the desired patient outcomes.
