About The Position
The Medical Assistant (MA) II functions under the Medical Direction of the Clinic Physicians and their designees, Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistants, to carry out direct patient service in the NIHD Clinics.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant training course completion
- Must exhibit good communication and people skills, good judgment and decision making skills, positive attitude, flexibility, and good problem solving skills, good verbal enunciation, basic understanding of computers, conduct, appearance and work performance shall be of professional quality
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience in medical field or clinical back office setting
- California Certified Medical Assistant certification or similar National certification
- Ability to speak read and write Spanish
