About The Position

IU Health is launching a Community Medicine (Virtualist) program to expand access to specialty care across Indiana. This role is for a Medical Assistant with strong technology skills to support virtual care providers. It is a non-traditional, technology-enabled position crucial for shaping and scaling virtual care delivery. The position also involves registration and scheduling activities, maintaining EMR files, and general front office functions. Computerized physician order entry may be performed if directed by the assigned physician. The MA is also expected to precept current MA team members or MA Externs as requested by leadership.
