About The Position

The Medical Assistant II provides clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. The focus of tasks includes basic rooming of patients, performing EKGs, Point of Care Testing, and EPIC documentation. In addition to general experience, the MA II should have at least 2+ years of experience in a specialized area such as phlebotomy, pulmonary testing, surgery, or cardiology.
