About The Position

Requirements

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program as specified by the Medical Board of California or equivalent Sutter Health training.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification required.
  • MA Certification by a California Medical Board recognized agency is required for incentive eligibility.
  • 1 year of recent relevant experience in a medical assisting role.
  • General knowledge of medical procedures, human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Competency in basic medical assisting skills, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities
