About The Position

The Medical Assistant II provides clinical office support to physicians and surgeons and performs patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care. Focus of tasks include basic rooming of patient, EKGs, Point of Care Testing, EPIC documentation. In addition to general experience, the MA II should have at least 2+ years experience in a specialized area such as phlebotomy, pulmonary testing, surgery or cardiology.

Requirements

• At least 2+ years of experience in a specialized area such as phlebotomy, pulmonary testing, surgery, or cardiology
• General experience as a Medical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical office support to physicians and surgeons
• Perform patient care and administrative duties necessary to deliver quality patient care
• Room patients and perform basic assessments
• Conduct EKGs and Point of Care Testing
• Document patient information in EPIC
