ChristianaCare's Primary Care at Medical Arts Pavilion II looking for a Medical Assistant I. Primary Care at Medical Arts Pavilion II is located at 4735 Ogletown-Stanton Road in Newark, Delaware. Primary Care at Medical Arts Pavilion II offers a comprehensive practice that includes pediatrics, family medicine, and internal medicine. The team of physicians, assistants, and nurse practitioners provides expert care for newborns, children, and adults, including gynecology, women's health, vaccinations, and physical examinations. MAP 2 - Newark | ChristianaCare Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 8am to 5pm Wednesdays from 10am to 7pm Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm Duties / Responsibilities: As a Medical Assistant I , you will be involved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice, preparing them for virtual visits, performing point of care testing, injections, medication administration, and EKGs, assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures, preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment, completing patient-specific paperwork, ensuring EMR is up-to-date, handling patient call backs, sterilizing medical equipment, handling prior authorizations, referrals, and medical refills, scheduling tests, procedures, and surgeries, performing quality control on POCT equipment, providing documentation assistance, performing clerical duties, troubleshooting patient issues with video visits, and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCare's Patient Portal.
