As a Medical Assistant, you will assist our providers with patient visits so they can always be a step ahead in assessing and determining patient treatment plans.

Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Lifting limited to 40 pounds or less.
Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and full range of motion to assist with lifting patients.
Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
BLS certification required upon hire.
Entry level medical assistants are required to have around 0-3 years of experience; a senior level medical assistant will have 5 or more years of experience.

Nice To Haves

Medical assisting certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
Listen and accurately chart patient information, recognizing significant details for the provider.
Communicate respectfully and thoroughly with patients, coworkers, and other professionals.
Obtain patient records and test results while following HIPAA guidelines.
Schedule appointments and complete patient forms with attention to detail.
Assist with additional tasks as needed.
