Requirements

• Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification for Medical Assistant I.
• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program for Medical Assistant II.
• Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience for Medical Assistant II.
• Ability to work evening hours and Saturdays.
• Epic experience for Medical Assistant II.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and EHR (Epic).

Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for exams, including documenting patient information in the electronic health record.
• Assist with patient exams, minor surgeries, and medical procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms and laboratory areas with necessary supplies.
• Perform in-house lab testing, including venipuncture and various rapid tests.
• Provide lab coverage and ensure proper specimen handling and equipment maintenance (Medical Assistant II).
• Train and mentor new Medical Assistant staff and students (Medical Assistant II).
• Review and update patient demographic and medical information.
