About The Position

Atrium Health NorthPark Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant I/II to join our team. This full-time position offers a variety of shifts to accommodate our patients' needs. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth patient experience. You will be responsible for performing clinical and administrative tasks, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a clean and organized environment in the clinic.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a family medicine or primary care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams.
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the clinic.
• Provide patient education and support as needed.
