WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Shift hours 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday Sign On Bonus Available (Ask your Talent Acquisition Advisor if you are eligible for Sign-on Bonus) Hardworking Medical Assistant serving as the sole MA in the infusion area Responsible for rooming and supporting approximately 20 infusion chairs Performs blood draws (phlebotomy) Administers non-hazardous injections Enjoy work life balance with consistent day shift schedule and observed holidays off work Professional development opportunities Enhanced benefits package with a pay structure to reward experience and expertise Provide a more personal approach to direct patient care in a variety of outpatient settings, which may include: rooming patients, taking vitals, obtaining a comprehensive medical history, document care of patient via electronic medical record, administering vaccines, injections, and medications, phlebotomy, point of care testing and medication reconciliation under the supervision of RN/Provider. Gather requirements from internal and external customers and provide information via phone, electronic messaging and in person. Initiate and follow through on prior authorizations, referrals, and process sample medications, prescriptions, and refills as directed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Medical Assisting Program or 5 years of medical assistant experience
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association- within 90 days of hire
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – American Allied Health or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Medical Assistant (RMA) – American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – American Registry of Medical Assistants or Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) – National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) – National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - National Performance Specialists (NPS) within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients
  • Taking vitals
