About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility to apply within seven days of employment required.
• Knowledge of medical front and back office procedures.

• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide general front and back office support to professional staff.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms.
• Schedule patients and manage phone communications effectively.
• Maintain accurate patient information and medical records.
• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a Provider.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and assist physicians during exams.
• Perform clerical support duties including receptionist tasks, data input, and message management.
• Administer injections and perform venipuncture under supervision.
• Organize and communicate with insurance companies for authorizations and referrals.
• Perform various office procedures as directed by the provider.
