About The Position
Medical Assistant (Hearing Aid Technician) Sedalia, MO Starting at $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (No nights or weekends!) Summary Your main objective as a Hearing Aid Technician will be the cleaning, servicing, and troubleshooting of hearing aids for patients. Service hearing aids including changing domes, tubes, and wax guards. You will provide patient education on the wearing and use of hearing aids. You will also work to obtain goals and targets, which have been set according to the plan for your particular location. You'll work to ensure repeat and referral business by creating an outstanding experience for every patient.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent (60 credit hours) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years medical office experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Must have the ability to communicate test results both in writing and verbally.
- Must be able to present a professional appearance.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time throughout the day when required.
- Must have good dexterity in both hands.
Nice To Haves

- 1-2 years medical office experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Clean & service hearing aids for patients.
- Train patients to use hearing aids or other augmentative communication devices.
- Maintain or repair hearing aids or other communication devices.
- Demonstrate assistive listening devices (ALDs) to patients.
- Track and provide feedback on all referrals from marketing initiatives.
- Ensure that employees follow all Beltone corporate policies, procedures, and pricing programs.
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
