Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assists physicians with patient office visits, including rooming patients and recording vital signs.
• Prepares and reviews patient charts at least 72 hours prior to appointments, ensuring completeness and noting deficiencies.
• Organizes exam rooms, including cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Performs administrative tasks such as form completions, prescription refills, and patient education material preparation.
• Scans pertinent information into the electronic health record system.
• Demonstrates proper hand washing techniques and follows universal precautions for infection control.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in a safe environment, reducing the likelihood of healthcare errors.
• Demonstrates appropriate use of Red Bag Waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
