• Combination of relevant education and experience in lieu of attending a medical assistant program (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Receive and greet patients upon arrival.
• Register patients and complete necessary forms.
• Collect and enter patient demographic and billing information.
• Prepare patient charts and review fee slips.
• Maintain the office filing system and update electronic medical records.
• Collect payments in accordance with cash handling policies and procedures.
