Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to travel between all Konza clinics.

Nice To Haves

  • Current certification/registration as a Medical Assistant.
  • CPR certification for Health Care Providers.
  • 1 year of experience in an FQHC setting.
  • 1 year experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Obtain medical/social history, vital signs, and measurements; document accurately.
  • Prepare and process specimens; administer treatments, immunizations, and medications as directed.
  • Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
  • Perform lab tests, run controls, and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct pre-visit planning and update patient charts.
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and discharge processes.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality, rights, and dignity at all times.
  • Travel between all Konza clinic locations as needed.
