Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Nice To Haves

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
At least one year of experience in a clinical setting
Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency

Responsibilities

Conduct rooming of patients, including vitals, assessments, screenings, and medical histories
Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments within the MA scope of practice
Administer medications and vaccines per provider orders
Document accurately and efficiently in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Maintain clinical areas, ensure proper stocking, and adhere to infection control standards
Provide patient education on diagnoses, follow-up care, and treatment plans as directed
