About The Position

UT Urgent Care is looking for a dedicated MA/CCMA to float between locations and provide exceptional support for our clinical teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic. Support the office clinic where needed. Take vitals, review medical history, and update EMR records. Serve as a key point of contact between patients and providers. Maintain exam rooms and sterilize equipment per OSHA standards. Follow up on test results, document test in logs per CLIA standards. Support providers during in-office procedures. Participate in team meetings and ongoing training. Provide back-up support to clinical staff as needed. Requirements

  • Excellent multitasking, time management and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced medical office.
  • At least 1 year of experience of giving unsupervised IM injections, EKGs, providing wound care, and POC swabbing for COVID, Strep, FLU and Mono.
  • Must have critical thinking skills and be highly motivated.
  • GED or High school diploma with greater than 2 years on the job MA training.

Nice To Haves

  • CMA, CCMA or RMA preferred
