Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified Medical Assistant program preferred.
Prior experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and healthcare protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality.
Basic knowledge of sterilization techniques and medical equipment handling.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care support to licensed healthcare providers, facilitating efficient clinical workflows.
Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring clear communication and a positive patient experience.
Schedule appointments, tests, procedures, and surgeries in accordance with established protocols.
Prepare patients for visits by guiding or accompanying them to examination or X-ray rooms, providing gowns or drapes, and assisting with proper positioning for examinations and treatments.
Interview patients to gather medical histories and record relevant information accurately.
Order X-rays or other diagnostic tests as directed by the provider or per protocol.
Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures as needed.
Clean and sterilize medical instruments, rooms, and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
