The Medical Assistant Float travels to offices throughout the network, as the need arises. The MA Float position requires the ability to adapt and adjust to offices within the Physician Companies, which include Primary Care, and varied specialty practices. The Medical Assistant is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers. Nature and Scope Independently performed procedures may include, but is not limited to, rooming patients, venipuncture, administration of injections, collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, ear irrigations, ultrasound therapy, muscle stimulation, hot/cold packs, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, holtor monitoring, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests.
