The Medical Assistant assists physicians as they assess, examine and treat patients. This role involves managing patient flow and performing various diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and taking vitals. The Medical Assistant acts as a liaison to physicians to ensure patient satisfaction and maintains and orders supplies for their area as needed.
