About The Position

We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in our Woodstock and Cartersville offices! (Mon & Fri in Cartersville, Tues, Wed, Thurs in Woodstock) At HVC we invest in you and your career growth by conducting monthly lunch n’ learns, reimbursing certification costs for any job required certifications as well as providing scrubs. Requirements

Dependable team player is a must.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, will be required to gain certification within six months of employment. (ex. CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT)

Responsibilities

Full triage
Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
EKG's
Recording and updating patient information
Chart prep
Phlebotomy
Medication refills
Some travel may sporadically be required between other HVC offices to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.
