Medical Assistant Float Pool

About the position

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks as delegated by healthcare professionals.
• Conduct administrative and clerical tasks related to patient care.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent education.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or EMT Basic Certification (EMT) within the state(s) of practice.
