About The Position

Where Amazing Works! Certified Medical Assistant performs a variety of clinical and clerical functions, in accordance with established policies and procedures, to assist the practitioners and management in daily office operations. This is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility. As a Certified Medical Assistant in our Primary Care and Multi-Specialty practice you will: Prep and assist in the exam room, Triage Patients, Collect urine and draw blood samples, Take and record height, weight, blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients. This is a 37.5hr; Full-Time position Monday-Friday with a future Saturday. Schedule of 9:00AM-5:00PM work week; overtime as needed. Located at 340 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. This position is a Floater position and will REQUIRE to travel to other practice locations within Brooklyn Medical Group.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
• A minimum of one-year medical assistant experience or internship in a physician practice
• National Medical Assistant Certification

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant experience within a primary care and Multispecialty healthcare setting
• Strong Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Bilingual - English and Spanish speaking
