Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical assisting or healthcare administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare administrative or medical assistant role preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Must be proficient in office software.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process lab samples, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Manage patient referrals to specialists, coordinate follow-ups, and keep patients informed.
• Monitor medical and office supplies, place orders, and ensure proper storage.
• Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out, verify insurance, and collect payments.
• Accurately document findings, appointments, and updates in the electronic medical record system.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and relay messages to appropriate personnel.
