Medical Assistant Full time
This full-time opportunity offers 36-hours per week, full benefits, and a night shift schedule. There is an opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for routine patient care, under the supervision of an RN, cleaning/stocking, transporting patients, and performs additional duties as requested, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), performing EKGs.
• Greets patients that arrive into the ER with a smile and professional demeanor and performs QPI (quick registration) efficiently and accurately.
• Rounds on patients in the ER lobby and escalates patient needs to the RN.
