About The Position

Medical Assistant / EMT / LPN – Sussex Primary Care Clinic | Full-Time (0.9 FTE) Are you looking for a clinic role where no two days are the same and your support truly matters? ProHealth Care is hiring a Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN to join our Sussex Primary Care Clinic in a full-time, 0.9 FTE role. This position works as an in-clinic float, supporting primary care providers and care teams with essential clinical support throughout the day. What You Will Do:Provides direct care to patients under the supervision and delegation of the Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Physician within ProHealth Medical Group. Provides care in partnership with the patient and their family, with the goal of supporting an optimal healing community. Efficiently prepare exam rooms by setting up proper equipment and supplies, following standard rooming workflows to prepare patients for provider exams, obtaining vital signs, health history verification, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR Clean exam rooms after each patient visit and maintain sufficient stock of supplies.Answer patient calls, obtain medical information, report test results, administer medications and vaccinations, prepare sterile fields, and assist with procedures as directed by providers. Perform therapeutic treatments, health screenings, specimen collection, Point of Care testing, and assist with splints or wound care under supervision. Respond to urgent situations, call for clinical assistance as needed, and assist in maintaining clinic medications, vaccinations, supplies, and equipment. Float to other departments or clinic locations as assigned by PHMG Leadership. Requirements

Experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN
Comfort working in a fast-paced primary care environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and willingness to support multiple providers
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completion of Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or other equivalent clinical training program
AHA BLS or ability to obtain upon hire
1 Year of experience, New graduates will be considered

Responsibilities

Rooming patients and taking vitals
Assisting providers during exams and procedures
Administering injections and vaccines as trained
Managing phone calls, messages, and medication refills
Supporting clinic flow and stepping in where help is needed
Working closely with providers, nurses, and fellow CSAs
