About The Position

The Clinical Support Associate position at ProHealth Care's Waukesha Heart and Vascular Center is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional cardiovascular care, particularly in the Electrophysiology Clinic. The associate will assist healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care to individuals with heart rhythm disorders, performing both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure effective patient management and smooth operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and proficiency in EMR systems and basic medical procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

• Additional certifications such as Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) WI EMT B, WI LPN are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and examination of patients, including taking vital signs and ensuring patient comfort.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms and assist with diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, addressing inquiries and providing information about treatments and procedures.
• Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and treatment plans in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure adherence to safety standards.
