Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent Required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 6-week medical assistant program in partnership with Blue Ridge Community College.
• Pass the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) exam after course completion.
• Maintain office instruments and knowledge of sterilization techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist nursing and medical staff with routine examinations and patient treatments for various patient demographics.
• Perform all aspects of patient care in a safe environment.
