About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) is accountable for basic clerical and technical supportive services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed physician or surgeon. The incumbent functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe and efficient patient care.

Requirements

• A minimum of six (6) months working in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• High School diploma as accredited by the US Department of Education or GED required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support is required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills preferred.
