Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include: Provides temporary staffing coverage for scheduled vacations, clinic staffing vacancies, project coverage, and various types of interim staffing needs. Perform both clinical and administrative duties for various positions throughout The Oregon Clinic. Responsible for assisting the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination. Assisting with procedures and performing specialty-related tests/monitoring. Scheduling appointments for new and established patients as needed. Updating records as needed. Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is required.
  • Reliable transportation, and willingness to commute throughout the Portland Metro area are required.
  • Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is required.
  • Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.
  • ACLS may be required by specialty.
  • Based on specialty may require LXMO license.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is required.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
  • A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

  • Specialty Care experience is a plus!
  • Epic experience is a plus!
