About The Position

Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) is seeking a Medical Assistant Coordinator (MAC) to join our Population Health and Quality team. At RCMS we are committed to reducing health disparities and improving health outcomes across our rural communities. The Medical Assistant Coordinator (MAC) plays a key role in making that happen. This is not a traditional MA role. The MAC works directly with clinical teams to proactively close care gaps, support preventative health screenings, and ensure patient records accurately reflect the high-quality care we provide. If you’re passionate about preventative care, quality improvement, and measurable impact — this role is for you. This role directly supports improved patient outcomes, quality incentive performance, and overall population health. Why RCMS: RCMS is a mission-driven, community-based health center focused on delivering comprehensive, compassionate care. Our Population Health & Quality team is central to advancing clinical excellence and improving outcomes for the patients we serve. If you are detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to elevate your MA experience into a role that directly impacts quality and patient care — we encourage you to apply. Redwood Coast Medical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
