As a Medical Assistant at Conviva Care Centers, you will play a crucial role in our clinical care team, serving as the first point of contact for patient care. This position involves a blend of administrative duties and direct patient care, making it essential for the delivery of high-quality healthcare services. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support both the operational and clinical aspects of our primary care facilities. Your role will include pre-visit planning based on the type of patient visit, managing the provider's schedule to ensure an efficient workflow, and obtaining and recording medical histories and vital signs. You will also assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments, perform specimen collection and point of care testing, and prepare and administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers. In addition to these responsibilities, you will ensure accurate documentation in electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including the documentation of HEDIS and Stars quality measures. Maintaining established quality control standards is also a key part of your role. As a Medical Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
