About The Position

The Medical Assistant at Concord Family Medicine will report to the Clinical Leader or Clinical Manager and will assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction and supervision of the providers. The role includes basic skills in treatments and procedures, and may also involve clerical, environmental, and organizational support within the medical office. The position is structured for 36 hours per week, working four days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with either Wednesday or Thursday off.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Successful completion of a Licensed Nursing Assistant program or Military medical training with commensurate experience.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program; no experience required.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant must have a minimum of one year of healthcare experience.
• Trained Military Medic must have the equivalent of one year related experience.
