The Medical Assistant provides and coordinates medical care in an outpatient setting following a patient-centered, primary care model including the following tasks: Completes patient rooming process. Completes patient testing and procedures following provider orders/standing orders. Performs desktop management and computer tasks. Performs immunizations and injections. Performs general clinical operation duties. Precepts new employees and coaches MA Apprentices. Orders supplies, medications, and vaccines.
