Your Clinical Impact You’ll be a vital part of our back-office team, providing specialized support for our patients and providers: Urology Procedure Specialist: Assist with specialized exams and handle the precise set-up for procedures such as Cystoscopies, Vasectomies, and Urodynamic testing. Patient Advocate: Take vitals, record medical histories, and lead new patient work-ups with a friendly, professional attitude. Clinical Skills: Utilize your expertise in phlebotomy, lab specimen collection, and catheterizations. Flow Master: Keep the clinic running smoothly by managing room turnover and maintaining accurate EMR documentation. What We’re Looking For Certification: You must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) with a current BLS. Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. GENERAL SUMMARY The Medical Assistant Certified supports the delivery of urological services, performs work as required and functions as an effective member of the interdisciplinary team. The Medical Assistant Certified is tasked to perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the medical offices running smoothly. This position collaborates/works with staff within their practice or other professional disciplines within the affiliated medical groups as needed to achieve effective and efficient patient care delivery and the desired patient outcomes.
