We are recruiting for the following position: Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization On-call Medical Assistant Registered or Certified position availablefor our Everett Mall Way Medical Clinic. The ideal candidates willhave proven excellent customer services skills, demonstratean enthusiastic & professional demeanor, and excel atmulti-tasking. Medical Assistants are an integral part of the careteam; ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in asafe and timely manner.The MA REGISTERED will perform duties in the MA - Registered Scope ofPractice in addition to ensuring that all patient clinical measuresare being addressed, coordinating and processing all patientreferrals, obtaining patient subjective information and vital signs,and other duties within their clinical scope. Assists Nursing/MASupervisors with streamlining and implementing pod/flow systems toimprove efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Must have a Washington State MA-Certificate or possess anMA-Interim License and pass the exam within the 90-day probationaryperiod
  • Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR within 90 days of hiredate and is required to maintain current BLS CPR throughout employment
  • Must demonstrate clear and concise written and verbalcommunication.
  • Must be fully vaccinated

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients
  • Complete all provider referrals for each patient
  • Administer injections and/or distribute oral medications underphysicians' order; perform venipuncture
  • Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensuringcommunication and documentation for comprehensive patient carecoordination
