A The Medical Assistant - Certified, based upon Washington State certification and scope of practice as defined by Samaritan Clinics, is responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of physicians and physician extenders. The Medical Assistant - Certified may be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. May be primarily assigned to specific medical specialty department but may be asked to work in other departments including Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Family Medicine, OB/Women's Health, Care Today, Podiatry, and other specialty departments as assigned. We are seeking a candidate with a positive attitude, great customer service skills, the ability to demonstrate compassion, and anticipate future patient needs. This position will support our growing clinic team serving our Patton clinic location. Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant, Certified preferred. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday from hours of 8:00am-5:30pm. EXTRA INCENTIVE: Up to $7,500 sign on bonus, subject to two-year Hospital Sign on Advance Agreement.
