Essential duties include scheduling patient appointments, obtaining authorizations, maintaining a master calendar for physicians, performing vitals, and entering required information in Cerner. The position also involves developing supporting documentation for insurance claims, covering front desk duties when needed, and ensuring that physician orders for medications and treatments are implemented by appropriate staff.
