Our practice, located at 81 Highland Avenue in Salem, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our team. Our practice provides comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care to patients across the North Shore. Located on the Salem Hospital campus, our team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers delivers evaluation, diagnostic testing, and ongoing management for a wide range of heart conditions. We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week) Medical Assistant to support our practice. This role is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. The primary work location is 81 Highland Avenue; however, candidates must be able to commute between our local practice sites as needed, including our secondary location at 331 Highland Avenue. The role supports healthcare teams by assisting with both clinical and non-clinical patient services under the direction of healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting patient information, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow. This role involves direct interaction with patients to ensure their comfort and address concerns, as well as collaboration with physicians, nurse practitioners, and nursing staff to facilitate efficient care.
