About The Position
The Medical Assistant in Behavioral Health at Henry Ford Medical Group is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks under the direct supervision of the provider and nursing leadership. This role is crucial in providing quality and compassionate care to patients with behavioral health conditions. The Medical Assistant will greet and escort patients, obtain medical histories, measure and record vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and assist providers during procedures. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week during the day shift, specifically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
