About The Position

Float Medical Assistant needed in Dallas and North Dallas Suburbs! This position involves rooming patients, collecting vitals, preparing and stocking exam rooms, assisting with exams and procedures, performing point of care (POC) testing, handling prior authorizations, and managing front office operations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. The schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• 2+ years of back office medical assisting experience
• MA certification not required
• Must be able to float with different providers

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients
• Collecting vitals
• Prepare and stock exam rooms
• Assisting with exams and procedures
• Performing point of care (POC) testing
• Handling prior authorizations
• Managing front office operations
• Other duties as needed
