TriHealth Heart Institute is actively recruiting for a Scheduling Coordinator and Medical Assistant that can travel to all Heart Institute locations up to and including Clinton Regional Hospital and Adams County. Mileage reimbursement is available. This position performs clerical duties, including interpreting scheduling requests, scheduling appointments and/or tests, and maintaining medical records for participants, both internally and externally with many different providers and areas of specialty. The role coordinates scheduling of participants within multiple departments internally including nursing, transportation, and therapy at three different sites. The candidate must have the interpersonal skill to communicate with respect and compassion to customers. The position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of the physician. This includes interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and preparing treatment rooms for examination. The position will be cross-trained to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care, demonstrating flexibility, motivation, and commitment to quality patient care.
