About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field: Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse
• 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dermatological procedures
• Knowledge of DERM Tech

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documenting all vital information
• Scribing information for the dermatologist
• Providing post-op wound care to patients
• Drawing blood and performing suture removal
• Cleaning and stocking the exam rooms
• Scheduling patient appointments
• Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, and more.
