Requirements

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical assistant role
  • Strong understanding of healthcare procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of occupational health standards and safety requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems
  • Experience with H&S, Abra, EudOra, OHM, Quest, Rolodex, Management System Reporting (MSR)
  • Phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality medical care to employees
  • Conduct pre-employment health screenings and ongoing health assessments
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality protocols are followed
  • Administer medication and injections as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Perform medical procedures such as Spirometry, neurometry, blood pressure, pulse, hearing tests, urine drug screen, phlebotomy, breath alcohol testing, height, weight, uniform measurements, and basic eye exams
  • Monitor and report on employee health trends to management
  • Provide first aid and emergency response support as needed
  • Collaborate with manufacturing staff to promote workplace wellness initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as requested by Management
  • Maintain regular attendance
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime
