About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated, talented, and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our `ohana (family) at Waimānalo Health Center. This position is integral to supporting our mission and values, which are deeply rooted in Native Hawaiian principles. The Medical Assistant I (MA I) will collaborate with clinic staff to assess, plan, and provide exemplary patient care while implementing care plans. Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure are essential for this role, as the MA I must effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment. The MA I will assist in both administrative and clinical duties as directed by the Clinic Support Staff Supervisor (CSSS), Director of Clinical Operations (DCO), Chief Medical Officer (CMO), or other medical providers within Waimānalo Health Center. This role emphasizes providing patient care in a holistic and culturally sensitive manner, aligning with our Patient-Centered Health Care Home approach. Additionally, the MA will support school health initiatives and Mobile Medicine services, ensuring comprehensive care delivery to our community.
