About The Position

Join EANM as a Patient Services Representative Trainee (PSR Trainee) and become the welcoming face and organizational backbone of our clinics. In this essential, patient-facing role, you’ll be cross-trained to support both check-in and check-out functions while learning to navigate systems such as NextGen and Phreesia. You’ll play a critical role in scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient financial interactions—helping ensure a smooth, accurate, and compassionate experience for every patient we serve. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt to changing workflows and technology
  • Comfort learning insurance plans, medical terminology, and clinic systems
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to complete all required training and work rotating Saturdays and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate patient appointments using NextGen and Phreesia
  • Register new and established patients, verify demographics and insurance, and obtain referrals and prior authorizations
  • Check patients in and out, collect copays and balances, and follow cash drawer and batching protocols
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments, delays, billing questions, and follow-up needs
  • Coordinate with clinical teams to support patient flow and provider schedules
  • Maintain accurate documentation, process referrals, manage task inboxes, and support clinic operations
