Medicaid Eligibility Specialist COME WORK FOR THE LEADING, LOCAL MANAGED CARE COMPANY - VILLAGE CARE! MUST LIVE IN NJ/NY/CT VillageCare is looking for a self-motivated Medicaid Eligibility Specialist for a Full-Time position, 9am-5pm. The Medicaid Eligibility Specia list assists members with Medicaid eligibility and re-certifications. Requirements

High School diploma
Minimum of 1 year of job related experience
Attention to detail
Communication skills
Bilingual

Responsibilities

Process and submit new Medicaid applications/benefit upgrades and re-cert applications to HRA or designated state entities by vendor of plan.
Track status of applications and renewals, and monitor their outcome.
Assist in informing VillageCareMAX team's and business partners of Medicaid approvals, pending, or other insurance issues with members.
Assist enrollees with scheduling and/or attending Medicaid Fair Hearings to resolve discrepancies on an as needed basis.
Review weekly Medicaid status reports to identify members with Medicaid coverage issues, follow established department workflow to resolve, and report outlier issues to supervisor for resolution.
Assist to identify members that are out of compliance with Medicaid renewal requirements.
