About The Position
This position is located within the Louisiana Department of Health / Medical Vendor Administration / Region 8 / Ouachita Parish. This vacancy is being announced as a Classified position and will be filled as a Probationary appointment. The position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of: Medicaid Analyst 1 - $16.42 hr / $1,313.60 bi-weekly; Medicaid Analyst 2 - $17.56 hr / $1,404.80 bi-weekly. This position comes with a Premium Pay Rate of up to $2.00 per hour for hours worked only and based on years of service at Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), Office of Medical Vendor Administration (MVA). The ideal candidate should possess competencies in following policies and procedures, making accurate judgments, thinking critically, accepting direction, communicating effectively, displaying professionalism, leveraging technology, managing conflict, managing time, and solving problems. This position participates in a Career Progression Group (CPG) and may be filled as a Medicaid Analyst 1-2. The level at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected. The actual starting salary depends on the education and experience of the selected applicant.
